Social Justice Action Summit, Part I- Centralizing the Margins

Mar 31, 2019 8:45am ‐ Mar 31, 2019 10:15am

Description

Join us for this first part of the Inter-divisional Social Justice Action Summit and discuss current social justice concerns affecting our profession and society. Discuss these concerns from multiple perspectives (e.g., indigenous rights; addiction; multicultural, spiritual, and affectional orientation, to name a few) and apply the advocacy competencies to begin developing action plans to address them. Be part of this collaborative and action-oriented summit and embrace the possibilities!

Speaker(s):

  • Anna Flores Locke, PhD, Assistant Professor of Mental Health Counseling, Nyack College - Alliance Graduate School of Counseling
