Trauma covers all races and genders. It does not discriminate against anyone. A common misconception is that once a child is born, the trauma that they experience in utero no longer affects them. Research shows that this trauma causes symptoms across the life span. This session will cover common causes, symptoms, and outcomes of in utero and early childhood trauma. This session will offer real-life examples and discussion about this neglected issue and offer invaluable information and treatment intervention approaches.
