Social justice involves the development of a social justice identity, which implies the integration of social justice into the professional and personal worldview of counselors. The presenters will overview the pedagogical philosophy from a multicultural course, which was a mixture of emancipatory communitarianism and transformative learning. The presenters cover the findings of action research from this class, focusing on developing social justice competencies through empirically supported learning strategies.
