Leadership positions in various counseling organizations have historically lacked individuals from diverse backgrounds. As we focus our efforts to diversify the leadership pipeline in ACES, we use this session as a starting point of conversation with counseling leaders to explore past and current barriers to diversification and leadership opportunities. This session will further illuminate the experiences of leaders from diverse backgrounds to provide discussion and innovative ideas for next steps.
