The poster will outline interpretive phenomenological analysis (IPA) as a potential method for novice researchers. Attendees will gain an understanding of the theoretical foundation of IPA as well as the methods and steps for identifying and beginning an IPA study. Attendees will also gain knowledge about data collection and analysis methods and how to complete a research study using IPA.

  • Participants will acquire knowledge about Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis and the structure it can provide for novice researchers.
  • Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the theoretical foundations of Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis.
  • Participants will receive concrete methods for data collection and analysis using Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis.
