This poster will explore factors that may contribute to students’ perceptions of the masters-level multicultural counseling course (MCC). Factors include: student identities, instructor identities, the student-instructor relationship, open-mindedness, emotional depth, experiential activities, mindfulness, and more. Further, implications for students and counselor educators will be presented, as well as recommendations for future research.
