Research in Group Work: A Renewed Focus on Exemplary Methods

Description

This poster will present on the 3-part special issue of the Journal for Specialists in Group Work. The poster will synthesize contributions representing a range of issues that are important to research in group work. Attendees will see significant developments in group work research and identify current trends and challenges facing research in group work while focusing across quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research.

  • Participants will learn of current research in group work.
  • Participants will learn how scholars and researchers have responded to challenges and calls to action in more rigorous group methods.
  • Participants will be introduced to new ways to explore group work using mixed methodology.
