Position/Program Assessment of a Counselor-In-Residence on a University Campus

Description

Counselor-in-residence positions are beginning to pop up around the country. This poster will describe the evolution of this type of position on a college campus. The presenter will discuss measures, construct validity, outcomes of measures, and the perceived future direction of the counselor-in-residence position at his university.

  • Professional collegiate counselors will learn new assessments methods to assess the effectiveness of Counselor-In-Residence programs/positions should they want to implement such a program/position on their campus.
  • Professional collegiate counselors will be able to understand the evolution of a Counselor-In-Residence program/position.
  • Professional counselors will be able to identify news ways to meet,treat, and mitigate the increasing demand of mental health counseling services.
