1. Participants will understand the violence and associated trauma endured by transgender clients including domestic violence and sexual assault.
2. Participants will identify trauma-informed approaches to care and be able to incorporate such approaches into treatment plans when working with transgender clients.
3. Participants will be able to identify aspects of vicarious trauma and incorporate clinician self-care as an element of trauma-informed treatment.
