The diagnostic criteria for anxiety disorders has changed in the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. In this webinar, Shannon Karl, Ph.D., LMHC, NCC, CCMHC, provides a thorough overview of the changes in all anxiety disorders to include generalized anxiety disorder. She presents the cluster of symptoms, levels of severity, frequency, and duration for different diagnoses. Dr. Karl is an associate professor with the Center for Psychological Studies at Nova Southeastern University in Florida.
