Eric T. Beeson PhD

Eric Beeson is a core faculty member in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Northwestern University and provides counseling services at holistic wellness center in Greensboro, NC. He completed his master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from West Virginia University and doctoral degree in Counselor Education from Ohio University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and is working towards his board certification in neurofeedback. Eric has nearly 10 years of experience as a professional counselor in various settings including a residential treatment center for youth, vocational rehabilitation agency, community mental health and substance use treatment center, high school, university counseling center, inpatient behavioral health unit, private practice, and neurofeedback clinic. Eric is an avid researcher, writer, and presenter on several topics that focus on the infusion of neuroscience in counseling. Additionally, Eric is in leadership positions with the neuroscience/neurocounseling interest networks of the ACA, AMHCA, and ACES.
