Leslie Kooyman PhD

Dr. Leslie Kooyman is an associate professor in the counseling program at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey. He has successfully written and managed federal, state , and local funding grants of $2.5 million over a period of 15 years while executive director of a human service agency providing mental health services to marginalized populations living with HIV and AIDS. He has also written and managed grants through a private practice setting and has been a consultant on grant writing and grants management for several years in both school and mental health settings with Department of Education grants, HRSA and CDC grants. Dr. Kooyman has also served as a grant reviewer for federal (CDC, HRSA), state, and local foundation funding.
