Deanna N. Cor PhD

Assistant Professor, Portland State University

Dr. Deanna Cor is an Assistant Professor of Counseling at Portland State University. She is a staunch advocate for social justice in counseling and focuses much of her teaching, research, and activism in this area. Dr. Cor's clinical work has primarily been in collegiate mental health working with emerging adults including clients identifying as student veterans and clients identifying along the gender continuum.  Her research has included validating an instrument to be used for measuring competency in both counseling students and faculty for working with trans*-identified clients.
