Harriet Glosoff, PhD, LPC, NCC, ACS, is a professor in the Counseling Program at Montclair State University. She has been a professional counselor for 40 years, working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has also been a counselor educator and supervisor for students and professional counselors for 25 years, integrating issues of integrating spiritual principles and wellness and addressing issues of ethics, diversity, and social justice. She has been actively involved in leadership roles related to the presentation topic. Examples include serving as president of the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES), member and co-chair of the ACA Ethics Committee, member of two ACA Code of Ethics Revision Task Forces, board member of and chair of the Ethics Committee for the Association for Spiritual, Ethical and Religious Values in Counseling, and member of an ACA Presidential Task Force on Cultural Encounters. She has published and conducted over 130 presentations at national, regional, and state conferences with an emphasis on ethics, spirituality in counseling and counselor education, social justice, and supervision.
