Harriet Glosoff, PhD, LPC, NCC, ACS, is a professor and Program Coordinator in the Counseling Program at Montclair State University. She has been a professional counselor for over 35 years, integrating spiritual principles and wellness into her work with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has also been a counselor educator and supervisor for both students and professional counselors for 25 years. She has extensive experience integrating issues of ethics, spirituality, diversity, and social justice in counseling and supervision and has been actively involved in leadership roles specifically related to the presentation topic. Examples include serving as president of ACES, and board member of ASERVIC, co-chair of the ACA Ethics Committee, and a member of two ACA Code of Ethics Revision Taskforces. She has authored/co-authored numerous book chapters and articles and has conducted over 130 invited and refereed presentations at national, international, regional, and state conferences with an emphasis on professional ethics, spirituality in counseling and the counselor education curriculum, social justice advocacy, and supervision.
