Jamie Bludworth PhD

Director of the Counselor Training Center, Arizona State University

Dr. Jamie Bludworth received his doctorate in counseling psychology from Arizona State University. He is a licensed psychologist, clinical professor, and Director of the Counselor Training Center at Arizona State University.   Dr. Bludworth’s primary areas of professional interest include: crisis assessment and intervention, training and supervision, and administrative and systemic practices that improve client and trainee outcomes.  He has published articles on supervision process and psychometrics. He is active in the American Counseling Association where he has been an invited speaker with Gerald Corey at the ACA national conference for 10 consecutive years.  He teaches theories of counseling, clinical practicum, practicum seminar, and supervision practicum. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Bludworth was the Associate Director of Arizona State University Counseling Services where he supervised counselors and psychologists at all levels of training. He has also served as a mental health consultant to the state of Arizona.
