Stacee Reicherzer PhD
Stacee L. Reicherzer is the Assessment Coordinator for the School of Counseling and Social Service at Walden University. A qualitative methodologist, Dr. Reicherzer is currently engaged in ethnographic research that examines a drag community's resiliency and resistance to homoprejudice and transphobia. She has worked extensively with transgender communities of color in the South Texas border region, and has made multiple media appearances including "Dr. G: Medical Examiner," in which she was interviewed about the use of black market silicone injections by transsexual women for body augmentation. Dr. Reicherzer serves on the ACA Human Rights Committee, and is co-chair for the Association of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender in Counseling's Transgender Committee.
