Dennis Gilbride PhD

Dennis Gilbride is a professor in the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services and program coordinator for the Rehabilitation Counseling program at Georgia State University. He has published numerous articles and book chapters, primarily on issues related to disability. He has received millions of dollars in external funding; most recently, he was one of three College of Education & Human Development faculty to be awarded a five-year, $750,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s Rehabilitation Services Administration to prepare rehabilitation counselors to work with people with mental illness.
