Robbin Miller LMHC
Robbin Miller, LMHC has a private practice in Massachusetts. Since 1996, Robbin (with her own speech and learning disabilities) has advocated for persons with disabilities. She gained valuable information and insight as an advocate for persons with disabilities at an independent living center. Robbin volunteered to be a member of the REDD (Rights, Equality, Dignity for the Disabled), a grassroots informal group of individuals with and without disabilities advocating for the civil rights for persons with disabilities. In 2004, in her role as Chair of REDD, Robbin successfully worked with advocates and city officials to implement an accessible taxicab service for persons with disabilities to use as a mode of transportation in Worcester. The slogan, "You can’t fight City Hall," did not apply to this endeavor. In addition, Robbin has her own cable access program entitled, "Miller Chat" that airs on Channel 28 in Shrewsbury since 1999. Miller Chat is about issues and solutions facing families, elders, and persons with disabilities.
