Dr. Kimberlee Ratliff EdD

Program Director/Professor M.Ed. School Counseling Program, American Public University System

Dr. Kimberlee Ratliff has been the Program Director of the School Counseling program at American Public University System for 7 years. Prior to her work at APUS, she was an elementary school counselor in North Carolina, elementary and middle school counselor in Virginia and an adjunct instructor at George Mason University.  Kim is an LMHC (WA), National Certified Counselor, and National Certified School Counselor. She has earned the following honors/awards: Virginia Counselor of the Year from the Virginia Counselors Association (VCA), APUS School of Education Teaching Excellence Award, Prince William County Heroes in Education Award, and Prince William County Student Services Above and Beyond Award. She has held leadership positions in local and state counseling associations and currently serving on the American Counseling Association Awards Committee. Dr. Ratliff is interested in mental health wellness and is faculty advisor for Active Minds of APUS.
