Dr. Adrienne N. Erby is an Assistant Professor of Counselor Education at Ohio University. Her specialty areas of practice are clinical mental health counseling and college counseling. She has counseling experience in a variety of settings, including university counseling centers, k12 schoolbased counseling, community mental health agencies, and integrated care. She completed her Ph.D. in Counseling with a Multicultural Counseling cognate at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her M.S. in Community Counseling at Oklahoma State University. Her research and professional interests include multicultural and LGBTQ+ issues in counseling and counselor education, curriculum and teaching practices in counselor education, identity development, and grief and loss. She is an active member of the counseling profession and has served in leadership in professional counseling organizations at state and national levels. She currently serves on the board of the Association for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender Issues in Counseling as the Professional Trustee of Multicultural & Social Justice Concerns.
