Brandé Flamez, Ph.D., LPC, NCC is a licensed professional counselor and clinical professor at Lamar University.Dr. Flamez is also the CEO/Founder of SALT (Serving and Learning Together) world Inc. a nonprofit which provides donations and volunteer services to developing countries.Her clinical background includes working with children, adolescents, & families in community-based and private counseling settings. Dr. Flamez is active in the counseling profession having served on the ACA Governing Council, Finance Committee & Investment Committee, and chaired the Publications Committee. She is also the Past President for AHC & currently serves as Past President for IAMFC, Secretary of AHC, and co-chairs the AHC Bylaws/Ethics Committee. She is the co-author/coeditor of the assessment textbook Counseling Assessment and Evaluation:Fundamentals of Applied Practice; Diagnosing Children and Adolescents: A Guide for Mental Health Practitioners; A Counselor’s Guide to the Dissertation Process: Where to Start & How to Finish; Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy: Theory, Skills, Assessment, and Application; & Practical Approaches to Clinical Supervision.
