Michelle E. Wade EdD

Dr. Michelle E. Wade is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Mental Health at Marymount University. She is a licensed counselor and board-approved supervisor in both Maryland and Virginia, having done in home counseling for over 10 years. She is a proud member of the Maryland Counseling Association, Virginia Counseling Association and American Counseling Association as well as numerous state and national divisions, such as ALGBTIC and ACES. Dr. Wade served as a member of the Ethics Revision Task Force for ACA, chair of the ACA Cyber Task Force, and worked as Ethics Specialist at ACA for two years before pursuing teaching full time. For the past two years, she has had the pleasure of being the credentialing chair for MCA and is also a past president of MACES and is the current Convention planning chair and Ethics Committee chair of VCA. Finally, Dr. Wade has presented numerous times on ethics and technology use in counseling at the state and national level.
