Rafe Julian McCullough PhD

Dr. Rafe McCullough, PhD, LPC, NCC, is a Counselor Educator at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. He has been an active member of the American Counseling Association, serving on the CACREP Revisions Committee in 2013, on the Multicultural Competency Revision Committee for The Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development (AMCD) in 2015-2016, and currently on the ACA Cultural Encounters Task Force. Dr. McCullough is one of the authors of the new Multicultural and Social Justice Counseling Competencies. He has backgrounds in both clinical mental health counseling and in professional school counseling. His writing and research interests focus on multicultural and social justice counseling and advocacy, LGBTQ, and particularly the needs of transgender individuals.
