Matthew Lemberger-Truelove is Professor in the Counselor Education program at the University of North Texas. He is the Editor-elect for the Journal of Counseling and Development and the past-Editor of the Journal of Humanistic Counseling. Dr. Lemberger-Truelove’s scholarly works includes empirical research, funded projects, and theoretical writing. His empirical work generally focuses on interventions that include social emotional learning and mindfulness. He is especially interested in culturally responsive interventions that support children and families from challenging economic environments. His intervention work was highlighted in the extremely competitive and noteworthy CASEL Guide. Dr. Lemberger-Truelove's theoretical work generally pertains to humanistic counseling and social justice ideologies.
